1. Safety: First and foremost your safety is priority, right? When you buy from a licensed professional you avoid the risk of purchasing product that might be contaminated. A skin infection or reaction is a lot more costly than discounted online product!
2. Responsibility:What happens if you have an allergic reaction or you want to return your product? Retail products sold online are not subject to manufacturer’s responsibility. Don’t get cheated!
3. Authenticity:Would you put fake on your face? Beware of counterfeit, expired, tester or resold products. When you buy from an authorized reseller you know your product is authentic and new. Given that much of the packaging for skincare products are manufactured in China, the opportunity to reproduce identical packaging filled with something other than the real deal is a no brainer, and yes, it happens more than you may think.
4. Condition: You never know what you’re going to get. Products sold on-line might not be in quality condition. Most warehouses are not climate controlled which could result in spoiled products. Some products are not stored or packed properly leading to damaged product.
5. Purity: Buying original product guarantee’s purity and effectiveness. Don’t waste time or money on product that might not deliver results.
6. Advertisement: How do you use it? Licensed skincare pros and clinics have the best quality skincare training. You can trust your questions will be answered correctly and with care.
7. Would you dumpster dive for dinner?:  You never know what you are going to get. It varies widely. Some of these products sold on the internet CAN be legitimate, but it’s very unlikely.
8.  The Ole-Switcharoo: If they are legitimate products they may have come from Smash-and-Grab spa thefts or spas going out of business, selling products that could be expired or used as samples. Some bottles are real products watered down, some bottles have completely different products in an expensive brand name bottle.

Most manufacturers don't package their own products so these grey market products are easy to pull off, some bottles are previously opened or expired. If you see large numbers of individual products for sale they may be coming from unscrupulous manufactures dumping products that are expired and could no longer be sold through legitimate channels - remember eBay started as an auction house, and some come from dumpsters, yes, really.

9. No Customer Support: What product is right for your skin type or condition? What if there is a problem with the product you purchased? Who has your back?

10. No Refunds or Exchanges: Many wholesale sites have a strict no refunds or exchanges policy on spoiled or unwanted items. After reading this you can see why.
