Ingredients (Use organic where possible)
Makes 4 servings
- 1 lb Wild caught salmon
- 1/4 cup Trader Joe’s maple syrup
- 2 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- Fresh ground peppercorn
Directions
Using a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic and black pepper.
Take a shallow glass baking dish and place the salmon in it and coat the salmon with the maple syrup mixture. Cover and place in the refrigerator to marinate for around 30 minutes turning the fish once. (For easier clean up you can line the baking dish with aluminum foil.)
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees (Fahrenheit)
Place the baking dish, uncovered, in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the salmon flakes with a fork. Top with fresh ground peppercorn for added flavor.
